
We want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If for any reason you're not satisfied, our Exchange and Return Policy ensures your rights are protected in line with UK law.
1. YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason.
To exercise this right:
You must notify us in writing within 14 days of receiving your order.
You then have 14 further days to return the item(s) to us.
Please note: This right does not apply to bespoke, made-to-order, or personalised items unless they are faulty.
2. RETURNS PROCESS
If you wish to return an item, please follow these steps:
Contact us at info@layer-home.co.uk within 14 days of receipt.
Ensure the item is unused, in its original packaging, and in a resaleable condition.
Include your order number, name, and reason for return.
Once we have accepted your request to Return, we will send you the details of where to send the item(s) back too.
We recommend using a tracked delivery service, as we cannot accept liability for items lost or damaged in return transit.
3. REFUNDS
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will issue a full refund (excluding any original delivery charges, unless the item was faulty).
Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned goods, using the original payment method.
4. EXCHANGES
We’re happy to offer exchanges for eligible items, subject to availability. Please indicate this clearly when requesting a return. If the alternative item is not available, a refund will be offered.
5. FAULTY OR DAMAGED ITEMS
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you are entitled to a full refund or replacement if the item is faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose.
If you believe your item is faulty:
Notify us within 48 hours of delivery, providing photographs and a description of the issue.
We will arrange a replacement, repair, or refund where appropriate.
6. NON-RETURNABLE
We cannot accept returns or exchanges on:
Bespoke or made-to-order items
Personalised goods
Items returned more than 28 days after delivery
7. RETURN SHIPPING COSTS
For non-faulty items, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
For faulty, incorrect, or damaged goods, we will cover all reasonable return postage costs.
