For us, the most memorable interiors are often defined by the details. The final layer, a beautifully considered object, a tactile cushion, a sculptural piece or the perfect occasional chair, has the ability to bring an entire room together.
 

Yet, even after years of sourcing for our interior design projects, we often found ourselves searching for pieces that felt just right: beautifully made, distinctive and timeless, with an emphasis on natural materials, texture and form.
 

And so, LAYER was born.
 

Created by Amy & Megan of Amy Nicholas Interiors, LAYER is a natural extension of our design studio and the way we approach interiors. Drawing on years of experience designing and sourcing for beautiful homes, we have created a collection that reflects the materials, tones and textures we return to time and again.
 

Our collection brings together our own designs, including cushions, footstools and rugs, alongside a carefully curated edit of furniture, objects and homeware chosen for their craftsmanship, materiality and enduring appeal.
 

Expect sumptuous velvets, rich leathers, tactile weaves, natural stone and beautifully imperfect earthenware. We believe in layering texture, celebrating natural materials and introducing sculptural forms that give a home depth, warmth and character.
